Earlier this year I had the great pleasure of working very closely with an up-and-coming Women’s line based out of Texas, Hi! Expectation. Tasked with the job of creating prints for their Spring 2013 collection, I worked hand in hand with their design director to ensure the artwork suited their colorful and eclectic vibe. The lookbook had too many styles to post, so here are a handful of my favorites from this season, which are due out in stores early next year. For more information about Hi! Expectation, giddyup, mosey or shuffle on over to their website and facebook page.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their love and support over the last year. It’s been a good one, and we couldn’t do it without you.
A few weeks ago, Rachel over at Fair Vanity asked her readers to style a fall ensemble around one fair fashion item using one of our Monday Color Moods [what do I mean by fair? see here!]. We were so tickled with the results that we had to share them as well. Thank you to everyone who participated, we loved seeing our color inspiration put to such fair and stylish use!
Ariana from Mode Marteau chose Winter Is Coming to style her gorgeously thrifted digs (above images).
This super stylin’ collage by Amanda is inspired by Glazed and Confused, with the boots and necklace both made in the USA.
Suchi styled her outfit around Shiitake Sunrise, featuring a laundry list of fair assets.
We love Waverly’s daring interpretation of Dayglow & Diamonds! Another great match-up of thrift store finds.
Cynthia also chose Glazed & Confused as her inspiration, styling her Amour Vert top with bright golden skinnies. Nice print choice, if we do say so ourselves.
Hop over to Fair Vanity for more details about each outfit and the lovely ladies who submitted them!

Still spinning from the whirlwinds of last week’s LA Textile Show, we’ve got a few pictures to share from the event. I’d have to report the turnout was rather good, and we look forward to staying connected with all the awesome contacts we made. Good show, LA, good show.
