Plaids were particularly well represented in the Fall 2013 runway collections, coming in a plethora of colors, sizes and technical variations. Among our favorites were the more textural, painted ones, which seemed to stand out from the more simplistic and traditional approach.
Here’s a vibrant color story to start off the first Monday in May. Maybe it’s the punchy retro feel, or perhaps it’s just me, but something about it is screaming for an early summer trip to Palm Springs.
This week marks the halfway point of my pregnancy, and I’m enjoying what’s generally billed as the easiest part of this crazy ride. The nausea has subsided, I’ve got a surge of energy lately, and it’s exciting to explore the forgotten depths of my closet as my belly continues to grow. All I can really say is that my life long addiction to knits is really paying off, and it’s possible I might make it all the way to the end without buying any proper maternity clothes.
